Helping Your Student Succeed

Our staff understands that parents often manage their student’s scholarship information. However, federal FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) regulations forbid our employees from sharing information with parents without explicit written consent from students. We hope that you will work with your students and encourage them to be responsible for their own financial aid accounts.

However, if you find that you need to intervene to help your student, please have your student complete the FERPA Consent Release form on the My Profile page of their SAMS account.
